There were a number of local golf standouts on the boys and girls side on Thursday in the GO Junior Golf Series, as there were multiple Owensboro competitors with first place finishes.
Will Rickard led the way on the boys side, shooting a 79 to finish first in the 18-hole division in the 16-18 age group. He was joined by Colby Vanover as one of two Owensboro boys with top-three finishes, as Vanover shot a 41 in the 9-hole 11-12 age division.
Briley Billinglsey was the only one to finish in first on the girls side with a 39 in the 9-hole 11-12 age division, while Catherin Ray and Lainey West followed with a 50 and 63 respectively. Bayley Billingsley shot a 96 to place second in the 18-hole 13-15 age group, while Hannah Robbins shot a 100 to finish second in the 16-18 age group.
